Closing in

The finish line is in sight. We set a deadline of August 31 to have the fabrication complete, and we will make it!

I had to re-design the bottom of the pool side mosaic. At first we only knew that water would come out of the wall through a pipe. Later we learned that an 18” stone “scupper” would be installed so the water can sheet out into the pool.

This project has several variables in relation to the installation site, so there are sections that we will have to fabricate directly on site. We feel our planning is good, and we are prepared to expect the unexpected!

Me with the template to help us plan where the pergola beams will impact the top of our mosaic. Since we can’t be sure the exact positions of the beams, in relation to the mosaic, we have to fabricate around the beams on site.

We’re up to the top and over the wall! With the template in place, you can see where the beams hit the mosaic.
