Emerging with the Spring / by Lynn Adamo

I haven’t written much lately, nor have I been very good at cataloging my recent work. The last year feels like a fog, rolling in and out in slow motion. I’m sure just about everyone can relate to that! Everyone has responded to living in a pandemic, and these turbulent times, in different ways. It seems since we’ve been forced to be at home more than ever I have embraced the cocooning path. As it slowly warms up on the high desert, I am feeling the pull of getting outside, sprucing up the hillside plantings, and getting into the studio on a regular basis!

To kick things off, I figured I’d go back and start sharing the work I made last year. I haphazardly posted some photos here and there, but I never officially posted to my website.

In my ongoing series of abstract compositions featuring found rusted objects, here is a piece I finished in early fall and it showed in the Northwest Mosaic Art Alliance exhibition in Lincoln City in December, 2020.
